Our Coaches

Although the Rugbykids programme is tried and tested, the need for high quality coaches to deliver it is highly important to the overall success. Consequently, we select only the best coaches to take our sessions – each of whom have the ability to communicate with children of all ages and abilities in a way that encourages fun and builds confidence.

The Rugbykids “Fun First” approach means that all the coaches have to possess natural flair in working with children, as well as having the enthusiasm and experience to coach each session

To ensure that each Rugbykids camp is carried out to the highest possible standard, we require our coaches to complete an enhanced CRB disclosure, first aid training and the RFU level one coaching qualification. Furthermore, each coach is put through The Rugbykids internal training programme and is constantly assessed to ensure that the quality of coaching is maintained.
